Call for Oral Presentations

Oral Presentation Proposals Due: July 15
Notification of Acceptance: August 20

Oral presentations can focus on research results, lessons learned, case studies, best practices, and more. Oral presentations will be scheduled in concurrent session blocks on December 3, 4, or 5. Five presentations will be grouped by topic in a 100-minute time block. Each presenter will have 20 minutes total, which includes 15 minutes for the presentation, 3 minutes for audience questions, and 2 minutes to transition to the next speaker.

Each oral presentation proposal submission requires an abstract fee (see below). Accepted presenters must also pay the registration fee to attend the conference. There are options for reduced registration fees through volunteering and one day registrations.

Proposals will be evaluated for inclusion based on the clarity of the abstract, the relevance of the topic, and its appeal to attendees.

**Presenters that are part of a special session will also submit their abstract using the form at the link above. Your session organizer will review your proposal, plan the agenda and format, and be able to answer questions regarding your session.

Abstract Fee

A processing fee is required for each abstract submitted. This fee is separate from registration and required for all oral and poster presentation abstracts. To ensure this fee is not a barrier to participation, presenters can self-select the appropriate fee on their submission form based on this sliding scale:

  • Regular submission fee: $50
  • Discounted submission fee: $25 (available for students and those who need financial assistance)
  • Fee waiver: $0 (available for those who cannot pay the fee due to economic hardship or other reasons)

After submitting your abstract, you will receive a link to pay the fee using our online payment system.

Proposal Evaluation

Proposals will be evaluated for inclusion based on the clarity of the abstract, the relevance of the topic, and its appeal to attendees. Please have the following information ready when you submit your proposal:

  • Contact information for the presenter
  • List of co-author names and affiliations (if applicable)
  • Title of presentation
  • Abstract (200 words or less)
  • Presenter bio (100 words or less)
